You may have noticed our new tabernacle, installed at Easter. We give thanks for the many years of faithful service offered by our former wooden tabernacle—a beautiful hand-crafted gift, reminiscent of the Ark of the Covenant. The tabernacle houses the Blessed Sacrament reserved for prayer, adoration, and distribution.
After prayerful consultation with Pastoral and Finance Council members, a new tabernacle—crafted of durable and precious metals—has been installed to provide a more secure and lasting dwelling for the Real Presence of Jesus. This new tabernacle is a gift from a parish family. Appropriate use for the former tabernacle is being prayerfully discerned, and we give thanks for the honor it brought to the Lord in the Eucharist.
